15 Anti-Socialism Quotes
Well, beyond the fact that it seems to fail on a regular basis, we did have that whole Cold War thing.
Socialism is all about equality as an end state. In a nut, she’ll the idea is that we either are all volunteers working for free and our needs will be tended to through some magic distribution system. Or, everybody pays 100% tax and we all receive welfare. Americans are a bit too individualist for that.
America was built on the idea of the individual being free to do as he or she pleases. The government, as originally planned, was to stay out of the way and act only when it seemed necessary or was told by the people that some task was to be dealt with by the government. We are a people that prefer bottom-up governing to top down.
America is (was) about equality as a starting point, free markets and the sovereignty of the individual. Socialism is the antithesis of this. And again, it really doesn’t work very good.
I have no doubt in my mind that those socialists are kind and want to help the economically disadvantaged by taking money from some. However, such policies destroy the incentive for people to be successful. Eventually, all socialist states are faced with ONE PROBLEM, which they all run out of other people money and become waist deep in debt and inflation.
The problem with capitalism is that it heavily breeds corruption. Socialism’s problem is it is often perverted into a complete paradox of thinking… (We need to make the people free through equality, by making a strong government that takes away individual rights.). The truth is neither is good… The only good government is in the middle. A strong democratic base with both the needs of the wealthy and the poor taken into account. It really doesn’t take a PPh.D.to figure out…
